Have a new HP Pavillion TouchSmart 23 with Windows 8 pre installed & updated to windows 10.

Above error showed in white text on black screen.
Turned off computer  which then showed:-

Your PC ran into a problem and needs a re start.  Showing error 0xc000021a

Then I waited for a restart which did not happen so turned off computer and restarted then had option to go to advanced options restart in safe mode by pressing f5 which shows error: Critical_Process_Died

Can you help please

Kind Regards

Chris

Now when I start PC it closes down as soon as HP sign shows on screen. Prior to that final screen was blue with the following:-

:(
Your PC ran into a problem and needs to restart. We're just collecting some error info, and then we'll restart for you. (100% complete)

If you need to know more, you can search online later for this error: CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED

Can you kindly assist

Can you remove external drives, usbs and anything else connected externally, then reboot and see?

Do you have access to another computer which we can use to create a bootable media?
commented Jan 5, 2016 by Stapo (120 points)
I removed all USB  drives ie printer & scanner and computer was then able to restore and open as normal. However  then the computer acknowledged the printer & scanner, but  I had not installed the the cd-rom for both.  Have again tried to restart computer. And I'm  getting "No boot disk has been detected or the disk has failed" error message again.
What do I do from here.
If I'm able to get it up & running after you reply with further info should I delete scanner & printer in computer system before I install the above CD-ROM software for both & will I have continual problems with windows 10?

Both the CD-ROM software for both above are for windows XP and vista. Will windows 10 accept these CD-ROMS.

Let's first figure out what caused it to plan our next course of action. What exactly did you remove that lead the computer to boot and detect the disk?
